HISTORY
Previously known as the Ohio State Conference of
Charities and Corrections, and originally part of the National conference
on Social Welfare, We became known as the Ohio Welfare conference in 1918.
As a tax-exempt non profit organization, we exist to provide a forum for
addressing the problems and method of human development. Further
we disseminate the latest information to persons in the human services fields
through popular programs and on current issues and developments in Ohio.
Hundreds of professionals from all over the state of Ohio annually attend
our high quality and low cost conference. The Ohio Welfare Conference
is a great place to learn the latest techniques, and to acquire the
most recent information on topics that relate to the day to day provision
of human services. Much more than simply "welfare" the Ohio Welfare Conference
annually includes topics in such areas as:

We are the only conference of its kind that draws such a large participation
each year and travels to different locations around Ohio. This gives

All Ohio Welfare Conference participants are members of the Ohio
Welfare Conference for the year that follows each annual conference.

Each year space is made available for businesses an organizations to exhibit
